Shapiro Bernstein & Company Inc. of New York published this sheet music, with words and music by James Thornton. The cover features Perry Como for Victor Records. Born into a large Italian-American family in Canonsburg,Pennsylvania, he left his home-town barber shop in 1933 and toured with the local band of Freddie Carlone. His big break came in 1936 when he joined trombonist Ted Weems’ band and featured on their Beat The Band radio show. He left the band when it broke up in 1942, and the following year signed for RCA Records. Music for paino and vocal covers two inside pages with an ad for more music on the back page. Front and back pages are intact with some wear on the edges from turning of pages. All tears on edges have been repaired with archival document tape for reinforcement.
