Canon ran this paper advertisement, taken from a 1999 magazine, and is one of a series of ads on endangered animals that offered wildlife information. The ad features their Color Laser Copier. It includes a color photo of the Puaiohi Small Kauai Thrush BirdMyadestes palmeri – of the Myadestes palmeri species – and lists its size, weight, and number in existence at the time of the advertisement. Rain forests in the Alakai Wilderness on the island of Kauai, Hawaii are stated as the animal’s habitat range. Jim Denny is the photographer.
