Canon ran this paper advertisement, taken from a 1993 magazine, and is one of a series of ads on endangered animals that offered wildlife information. The ad features their Color Laser Copier. It includes a color photo of the Walia Ibex GoatWalie – of the Walie species – and lists its size, weight, and number in existence at the time of the advertisement. Afro alpine vegetation in the Simien Mountains of Ethiopia are stated as the animal’s habitat range. Bernhard Nievergelt is the photographer.
