Canon ran this paper advertisement, taken from a 1989 magazine, and is one of a series of ads on endangered animals that offered wildlife information. The ad features their Color Laser Copier. It includes a color photo of the San Joaquin Kit FoxMacrotis – of the Macrotis species – and lists its size, weight, and number in existence at the time of the advertisement. Arid scrubland and grassland in the San Joaquin Valley in California are stated as the animal’s habitat range. Ansel Blake is the photographer.
