Canon ran this paper advertisement, taken from a 1995 magazine, and is one of a series of ads on endangered animals that offered wildlife information. The ad features their CF-60UVi Fundus Camera. It includes a color photo of the Spoon-billed Sandpiper BirdEurynorhynchus pygmeus – of the Eurynorhynchus pygmeus species – and lists its size, weight, and number in existence at the time of the advertisement. Coastal lowland tundra in northeastern Siberia and Southeast Asia are stated as the animal’s habitat range. Staffan Widstrand is the photographer.
