DeVilbiss Company of Ohio ran this paper advertisement that came from a 1945 magazine and features their spray guns. “Why barnacles Don’t Like U. S. Subs!” Ad tells of how in the Naval yard in Portsmouth, New Hampshire the hulls of submarines are sprayed with aluminum chrome that keeps the hulls clean. The ad on the back is a black and white Container Corporation Of America full-page ad. Artist is Aldred Pellan of Quebec, Canada.
