Container Corporation of America ran this paper advertisement that came from a 1948 magazine and featured many series of modernistic ads for different magazines which are truly a landmark in the history of advertising. Most ads were designed by some of the most innovative graphic designers of the era. The artist of this collector’s ad is Charles Shannon, a native of Alabama. The ad on the back is a full page Moore Business Forms ad with a wonderful color print picture of a street busy with street signs and bright colors by the artist name on the print of Bingham.
