Macmillan Petroleum Corporation of New York ran this paper advertisement that came from a 1945 magazine and features their brand of motor oil. “…never had the pan or heads removed in 92,697 miles”, W.A. Dennis, Geologist from Balboa, California, is shown telling of the use of Macmillan oil. The ad is dated on the back February 5, 1945. A quarter-inch tear, on the right edge, has been repaired with archival document tape to prevent further tearing. Light staining is present on the outer edge.
