This vintage advertisement, from a 1951 magazine, is for the Champion Spark Plug Company and shows Rogers driving the Coniff Special with Champion plugs and scoring his 24th consecutive win. Ad comes uncut from original page and is dated December 24, 1951. The back of this ad offers a full-page ad for Ethyl Corporation and the new Antiknock Compound used in gas. The ad is in good condition; the top edge has a small 3/4″ tear that has been repaired with archival document tape. It is very suitable for matting and framing and is a wonderful gift idea for the race fans that remember Al Rogers.
