Canon ran this paper advertisement, taken from a 1994 magazine, and is one of a series of ads on endangered animals that offered wildlife information. The ad features their NP 6030 Plain Paper Copier. It includes a color photo of the Asiatic LionPersica – of the Persica species – and lists its size, weight, and number in existence at the time of the advertisement. Gir forests in northern India are stated as the animal’s habitat range. Joanna Van Gruisen is the photographer.
