Canon ran this paper advertisement, taken from a 1993 magazine, and is one of a series of ads on endangered animals that offered wildlife information. The ad features their LBP-430 Laser Beam Printer. It includes a color photo of the Gaur BullGaurus – of the Gaurus species – and lists its size, weight, and number in existence at the time of the advertisement. Remote hill forests and bamboo thickets in India and Indo-Malaysia are stated as the animal’s habitat range. Fiona Sunquist is the photographer.
