Canon ran this paper advertisement, taken from a 1995 magazine, and is one of a series of ads on endangered animals that offered wildlife information. The ad features their EOS- 1N Camera. It includes a color photo of the Sokoke Scops OwlOtus ireneae – of the Otus ireneae species – and lists its size, weight, and number in existence at the time of the advertisement. Lowland forests in coastal Kenya and northern Tanzania, Africa are stated as the animal’s habitat range. Stan Koo is the photographer.
