Canon ran this paper advertisement, taken from a 1986 magazine, and is one of a series of ads on endangered animals that offered wildlife information. The ad features their FD 300 f/2.8L Lens. It includes a color photo of the California CondorCalifornianus – of the Californianus species – and lists its size, weight, and number in existence at the time of the advertisement. Mountains to the north of Los Angeles, California are stated as the animal’s habitat range. Jeff Foott is the photographer.
